What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient hands on healing modality that accesses Universal Life Force Energy for restoring balance and ease to any living being or any challenging situation. The word “Reiki” comes from the Japanese rei and ki which mean “spirit or soul” and “energy or life force”, respectively.
Re-discovered by a Japanese monk in the 1800’s, reiki has its roots in the sacred Tibetan scriptures (Vedas). Introduced to the U.S. in the mid-70’s by Mrs. Hawayo Takata, reiki is now practiced world wide.
Reiki can bring deep relaxation, ease pain, reduce anxiety and accelerate healing. It assists the body in cleansing toxins, balancing the flow of subtle energy through release of energetic blocks, and aligning and recharging the chakras. Reiki is a powerful method for guiding a person to contact the “healer within”.
Reiki is currently being used in U.S. hospitals (Columbia Presbyterian, NY) and taught as an elective in medical schools (Tufts). |

· 3 Distance-Reiki Healing sessions — $50 (Dates and times to be mutually agreed)
** Healing sessions outside of Rockland County can be arranged with prices to be negotiated.
